King Deputizes Crown Prince to Run the Country During his Absence

A Royal Order was issued here today, stating the following:
"We, Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, King of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia,
based on the Article 66 of the Statute of the Rule issued according to the Royal Order No. (A/90) dated 27/8/1412 AH (01/03/1992 AD),
and as we are planning, with the Will of Allah Almighty, to travel outside the Kingdom today, Saturday, the 9th of Shawwal, 1436 AH according to Umm Al-Qura Calendar, corresponding to the 25th of July 2015, have accordingly deputized His Royal Highness, Prince Mohammed bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, the Crown Prince to administer the affairs of the State and take care of the interests of the people during our absence outside the Kingdom."
