Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques deputizes the Crown Prince to run the day-to-day affairs of the State during his absence outside the country

A Royal Order was issued here today, stating the following:
"We, Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, King of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia,
based on Article 66 of the Statute of the Rule issued according to the Royal Order No. (A/90) dated 27/8/1412 H. and as we are planning, with the Will of God Almighty, to travel outside the Kingdom today, Friday, the 21st of Rajab 1434 H. according to Ummal Qura calender, corresponding to the 31st of May 2013, have accordingly deputized His Royal Highness, the brother, Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Crown Prince to administer the affairs of the State and take care of the interests of the people during our absence outside the Kingdom".
