Riyadh and Eastern Regions Governors Praise Naif bin Abdulaziz International Award for Prophetic Sunnah and Contemporary Islamic Studies

Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Riyadh region, has said that Naif bin Abdulaziz International Award for Prophetic Sunnah and Contemporary Islamic Studies embodies his interest and his sons after him in Prophetic Sunnah as a second legislative source after the holy Quran in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
In a statement during award ceremony to be held in Madinah under the auspices of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, he said the award enjoys the interest of scholars and intellectuals inside and outside the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and it has an important status in the hearts of Muslims.
For his part, Prince Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, Governor of the Eastern Region and Chairman of the Supreme Commission for Naif bin Abdulaziz International Award for Prophetic Sunnah and Contemporary Islamic Studies, said that the award shows the care and sponsorship of this country to the second legislative source, the Sunnah of the Prophet (peace be upon him).
