Acting Minister of Housing Dr. Issam bin Saad bin Saeed and the Russian Deputy Minister of Construction, Housing and Public Utilities Andrey Chibis, co-signed here on Thursday a memorandum of understanding for cooperation in the field of housing between the two countries. The MoU aims to exchange experiences and develop cooperation between the two countries in the field of construction, housing and the creation of joint ventures in the field of construction and design of buildings using modern technologies as well as the expansion of the analytical and information and regulatory cooperation. Within the framework of this MoU, the two parties can hold talks and consultations on a number of issues, including exchange of successful experiences in the implementation of housing policies in the two countries and cooperation in the field of construction and infrastructure, and the use of modern technologies and building materials.
