German Foreign Minister to visit Cuba, first German ministerial visit since 1959

German Foreign Minister
Frank-Walter Steinmeier is planning to travel to Cuba, the first such
visit by a German minister since the Cuban revolution in 1959, dpa reported.
Steinmeier received a formal invitation from his Cuban counterpart
Bruno Rodriguez Parrilla on Tuesday evening ahead of a meeting
between the European Union and Caribbean countries in Brussels.
