Cuba's President Raul Castro met here today with Speaker of Algerian People's Assembly Mohamed Ould Khalifa. During the meeting, they discussed bilateral relations as well as a number of issues of common interest. Earlier today, Algeria's Foreign Minister Ramtane Lamamra met with his Cuban counterpart Bruno Rodriguez Parrilla who is accompanying the Cuban President on his official visit to Algeria at the invitation of Algeria's President Abdulaziz Bouteflika.
