Moscow invites Greece to join development bank

Russia has invited Greece to take part in a
development bank for the so-called BRICS nations (Brazil, Russia,
India, China and South Africa), a statement from the office of Prime
Minister Alexis Tsipras said on Tuesday, according to dpa.
Tsipras is due to discuss the move with Russian representatives of
the bank when he travels to an economic forum in St Petersburg on
June 18, government sources said.
The BRICS New Development Bank was founded in 2014 as an alternative
to the World Bank and International Monetary Fund.
