The International Islamic Relief Organization of the Muslim World League delivered the first batch of emergency aid for Yemeni refugees in Djibouti including quantities of food at a total cost of SR 625,000 benefiting 3,000 families. According to the Secretary-General of the Organization Ihsan bin Saleh Tayeb, the emergency aid is the first installment of batches and there will be successive daily batches to save and rescue those in distress who have come to Djibouti as a secure haven for them, especially their numbers are steadily increasing and reached so far more than 20,000 refugees. He pointed out that that this aid included (3,000) bags of rice and similar amounts of sugar, flour and oil, in addition to (5,000) cans of milk. The Organization also delivered during the past few years, a variety of humanitarian aid to the poor and needy people in Yemen amounting to SR (90,899,878) which benefited (2,349,986) people in the various provinces there.
