The International Islamic Relief Organization of Muslim World League has distributed the first batch of urgent aid to Congolese refugees in the Republic of Uganda benefiting 2000 families whose members are not less than 5 persons. The Organization's Acting Secretary General Ihsan bin Saleh Tayyib pointed out that the aid included 10,000 kilograms of flour and similar amounts of peanuts; 6,000 liters of oil; 2,000 blankets and a similar number of water gallons; and hand plows.
