The International Islamic Relief Organization of Muslim World League has provided over the past few years the humanitarian aid to the poor and needy people in the Republic of Yemen amounting to SR (90,899,878) benefiting (2,349,986) people in health, social, educational, and seasonal services, the drilling of wells, emergency relief, and other fields. The Organization's Secretary General Ihsan bin Saleh Tayyip pointed out that the projects implemented by the Organization have been in the fields of breaking-fast, sacrificial meat, sponsoring orphans, drinking water, land irrigation, digging wells, building mosques and houses, medical health services, sponsoring students, supporting educational institutions, food baskets, social and educational welfare, and sponsoring preachers and offices of Holy Quran memorization.
