The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud chaired the Cabinet's session at Al-Yamamah Palace in Riyadh on Monday afternoon. At the outset of the session, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques briefed the Cabinet on his talks with King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa of Kingdom of Bahrain, the telephone call he received from President Omar Hassan Al-Bashir of the Republic of Sudan, the communications which he made to President Xi Ping of the People's Republic of China, President Barack Obama of the United States of America; President Francois Hollande of the French Republic; and British Prime Minister David Cameron; as well as his meetings with the Prime Minister of German State of Bavaria Horst Seehofer, and the Envoy of Quartet Committee for Peace in the Middle East Tony Blair. The Minister of Culture and Information Dr. Adel bin Zaid Altoraifi said in a statement to the Saudi Press Agency following the session that the Cabinet reviewed the developments of events in the region and the world, including the situations at the Yemeni arena and international efforts regarding them. The Cabinet welcomed in this context the Resolution No. 2216 on Yemen adopted by the United Nations Security Council under Chapter VII of the Charter of the United Nations by 14 votes, considering it as an embodiment of the will of the international community and its seriousness to stand by the Yemeni people and a strong message to the Houthi rebels and representing an endorsement of the international community in support for the position of the Kingdom and the countries of the coalition and for the Determination Storm being carried out by these countries in support for the Yemeni people and the response to the appeal of President Abd Rabbo Mansour Hadi. --More 14:46 LOCAL TIME 11:46 GMT تغريد
