The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud chaired the Cabinet's session at Al-Yamamah Palace in Riyadh on Monday afternoon. At the outset of the session, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques briefed the Cabinet on his talks with President Mohamed Ould Abdel Aziz of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania; Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Emir of Qatar; the telephone call he received from President Recep Tayyip Erdogan of the Republic of Turkey; the message he received from the President of the Republic of Sierra Leone Dr. Ernest Bai Koroma, and his reception of French Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Laurent Fabius. The Minister of Culture and Information Dr. Adel bin Zaid Altoraifi said in a statement to Saudi Press Agency (SPA), following the session that the Cabinet reviewed a number of reports on the latest developments of events at regional, Arab and international arenas and was briefed on the progress of the Determination Storm operations to defend Yemen and its dear people and the legitimacy in it on the military and humanitarian tracks, commending the ongoing campaign in its humanitarian efforts to protect civilians, the evacuation of communities and the provision of relief assistance in cooperation with relevant international organizations. The Cabinet welcomed the decision taken by President Abd Rabbo Mansour Hadi of the Republic of Yemen to appoint Premier Khalid Bahah as Vice President, considering it as an important step aiming to restore security and stability to Yemen. --More 16:04 LOCAL TIME 13:04 GMT تغريد
