Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of local and international issues. On Saudi-Swedish relations, Alwatan newspaper highlighted the kingdom's independent judiciary and social justice on its comment on the Saudi Council of Ministers' confirmation yesterday of its condemnation of the abusive remarks by the Foreign Minister of Sweden who criticized Islamic justice regulations in the kingdom. The newspaper said the cabinet statement was clear and firm concerning the emphasis on not allowing intervention in the internal Saudi affairs. Alyoum newspaper commented on the same issue and said that the position of the Council of Ministers which renewed condemnation of the remarks of the foreign minister of Sweden is an affirmation of the position consistent with and supported by the majority in the kingdomو adding that the criticism of the judicial system and the conditions of women in the kingdom is not accepted by Saudis.
