Ethiopian Prime Minister Haile Mariam Desalegn announced today that the warring parties of South Sudan failed to reach agreement that could end a 15-month armed dispute. A press statement issued here today, said that President of South Sudan Salva Kiir Mayardit and Rebel leader Riek Machar failed to commit themselves to prescribed last-mid-night truce to reach a peace agreement. "However, today they had an additional round of talk that did not make any breakthrough", the statement added.
