Istisqa (Rain-Seeking) Prayers Performed throughout Kingdom

Istisqa (rain-seeking) prayers were performed this morning throughout the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in pursuant of the Prophet's Sunnah to perform "Istisqa" prayers in case of drought or delay in rainfall.
Istisqa prayers were performed at the Grand Holy Mosque in Makkah and attended by Prince Khalid Al-Faisal, Advisor to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and Governor of Makkah Region.
The prayer was led by General President of the Affairs of the Grand Holy Mosque and the Prophet's Holy Mosque Sheikh Dr. Abdulrahman bin Abdulaziz Al-Sudais.
In Madinah, the prayers were performed at the Prophet's Holy Mosque and attended by Undersecretary of Madinah Region Governorate Abdulmohsen bin Mohammed Al-Munif.
