trade with these countries witnessed developments during the years 2004/2013, and there was a surplus in the trade balance between SR (22,227) million in 2004 and SR (64,092) million in 2008. The value of the Kingdom's exports to the GCC Arab States ranged between SR (30,764) million to (96,340) million during that period, while the value of the Kingdom's imports ranged between SR (8,537) million to SR (48,448) million. The United Arab Emirates was one of the most important states of the Kingdom's exports, which accounted for (2.8%) of the value of the Kingdom's total exports in the year 2013 amounting to SR (38,896) million, while it ranked eighth among the countries to which the Kingdom exported and the most important national commodities exported to it included oils of crude oil and its products, low density polyethylene, products of iron and steel, polypropylene, and Jewelry. The value of the Kingdom's imports from the United Arab Emirates during the year 2013 amounted to SR(31,940) million, representing the proportion of (5.1%) of the total value of the Kingdom's imports; thereby it occupied the sixth place among the countries from which the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia imported, and the main importing commodities included gold bars, copper coils and wires, bars and rods of copper, installations and equipment of iron or steel, and thereby a surplus in the trade balance amounting to SR (6,956) million achieved in that year. --More 13:28 LOCAL TIME 10:28 GMT تغريد
