Under the patronage of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia will host the Conference of Ministers Responsible for Cultural Affairs in the Arab World in its 19th session in Riyadh during the period from Rabi'I 19-22, 1436, corresponding to January 10-13, 2015. This was announced by the Minister of Culture and Information Dr. Abdulaziz bin Abdullah Al-Khudhairi who pointed out that participants in this conference include more than thirty Arab countries and organizations and institutions concerned with the main theme of the conference entitled "Arabic language, a platform for humanitarian and cultural integration" branching into four basic axes. Dr. Khudhairi welcomed the delegations of Arab countries and representatives of the concerned organizations participating in the conference in their second country, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, noting that the Ministry of Culture and Information has completed its preparations and provided all facilities through concerted efforts with other government sectors to ensure the success of the conference and come up with useful results for the Arab culture to upgrade it in light of what is being witnessed by the Arab homeland of changes at different arenas. The Minister of Culture and Information said that the first axis will be about "The Arabic language: concept, functions and uses", the second one " The contributions of Arabic language to human cultures", the third one "The Language of peoples: corner in culture and identity", and the fourth one "The Arabic language and the production of digital content", in addition to a number of cultural events associated with the works of the Conference prepared by the ministry for the participating delegations. --More 14:03 LOCAL TIME 11:03 GMT تغريد
