Voting began Sunday in Croatia's presidential election, with incumbent Social Democrat Ivo Josipovic tipped to win another five-year term, according to dpa. Josipovic leads his main challenger, the conservative Kolinda Grabar Kitarovic, by 10 percentage points in opinion polls. The two other candidate have an outside chance of upsetting the front runners. If, as expected, no candidate receives more than half of the ballots cast, the election will go to a run-off on January 11. The office of the president carries mostly ceremonial authority in Croatia.
