A political crisis in Mongolia appeared to be coming to an end Friday with the selection of a new prime minister. According to dpa, the Mongolian parliament announced on its website that Chimed Saikhanbileg from the Democratic Party had been chosen as premier. The previous incumbent, Norow Altanchujag, from the same party, was removed from his post about two weeks ago following accusations from other lawmakers of nepotism and corruption, and amid a significant economic downturn.
