The Secretary General of the Arab League Dr. Nabil Al-Arabi welcomed the results of the meeting that gathered the leaders of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar and the United Arab Emirates which was held in Riyadh last night at an invitation of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud. In a statement here today, Al-Arabi described the outcome of the meeting as important which he said would contribute to a great extent in purifying the atmosphere and pushing the GCC march amid critical circumstances and hazardous challenges which face the region. He thanked Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmed Al-Sabah, Emir of Kuwait and rotatory chairman of the Arab League's current session, as well as other GCC leaders for bringing about rapprochement during the meeting to reach positive results.
