AlQa'dah 12, 1435, Sep 7, 2014, SPA -- Three people were killed and 40 injured Sunday when a bus fell into a 35-metre ravine in the Philippines, dpa cited police as saying. The accident occurred on a winding road before dawn in Pagbilao town in Quezon province, 100 kilometres south of Manila, local police chief Von June Nuyda said. He said initial investigation showed the bus' brakes malfunctioned before it plunged into the gorge. He said two passengers were killed on the spot, while a third one died in hospital. Eight of the injured were in critical condition.
