Eight Saudi citizens found luring youngsters in Tamir Province to join extremist organizations abroad were apprehended, facing tough punishments prescribed by a royal order forbidding involvement in terrorist and extremist religious or intellectual organizations abroad. Based on reliable information about the activities of a number of citizens who dared to recruit youngsters to join the ranks of extremist groups outside the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and reports from several parents in Tamir Province that their dependants have been mentally affected by instigators, eight citizens were so far put under custody since the start of a crackdown that started by the security authority in the province yesterday, pending investigation. Once convicted, they will fall under one or more of the categories of outlaws prescribed by a royal order vowing to punish whoever belongs to extremist religious or ideological groups and trends which were categorized as domestic or regional or international terrorist organizations.
