A passenger train has rammed through a concrete barrier and rolled into a busy road intersection, injuring scores of passengers, AP quoted Philippine police as saying. Senior Superintendent Florencio Ortilla says injured passengers were removed from the front car of the train and taken to a hospital after the accident Wednesday in Pasay city in metropolitan Manila. There were no immediate reports of any deaths from the accident, which created a huge traffic jam. It was not immediately clear what caused the accident.
