Border Guard in Jazan Region managed to recently foil a number of smuggling attempts across the border into the country, it was reported here today.
Acting Information spokesman of the Border Guard Major Hasan bin Badr Al-Gosaibi said as a result of border patrolling over the fasting month of Ramadan 466 diversified weapons, 3796 ammunition, 770 pistols, 28 treasuries, 61 spears, five daggers, 4645 drugs, 191709 kilograms of Gatt, 2049 kilograms of Hashish , 108 mobiles, 73225 Saudi Riyals, 49350 Yemeni Riyals.
Also apprehended were 14242 infiltrators and 373 smugglers.
