A number of Egyptian press today underscored the importance of the Just-concluded first official visit to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia by President Abdulfattah Al-Sisi of Egypt to Riyadh and lauded the outcome of the talks he had with the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud in view of the eternal ties binding the two leading countries. Al-Ahram said in an editorial that the two leaders are aware of the danger of terrorism facing the region years ago, citing the concern they are sharing towards the developments in Iraq. The paper said the great understanding they are sharing is an addition guarantee for the success of Cairo and Riyadh to stand firm in the face of any threat. For its part, Al-Jamhouriya suggested editorially that the visit carries signs in view of the historic relations between the two leaderships and peoples of the two countries showing the projected Arab ideal example for real solidarity for the benefit of the Arab nation, particularly in view of the positions of King Abdullah and his government towards the Egyptian people's national will. The Seventh Day newspaper said the visit comes amid critical circumstances in the two countries and the region, necessitating the need for more coordination and consultation between the two leaders to face the current challenges in the region as well as the current developments in their countries.
