Bahraini King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa met here today with Egyptian President Abdulfattah Al-Sisi. During the meeting, King Hamad asserted that President Al-Sisi's election victory reflected the Egyptian people's confidence in his ability to lead the country towards a new phase of nation-building, development and progress, consolidate security, stability and national consensus and help Egypt regain its leading and pivotal Arab, regional and global role in championing just Arab and Islamic causes. King Hamad pledged that Bahrain will continue supporting Egypt and its people on all occasions and circumstances. President Al-Sisi expressed sincere thanks and appreciation to the King for his fraternal noble feelings and support for Egypt and its people, lauding the advanced level of Bahraini-Egyptian relations.
