Egyptian Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab met here today Minister of Finance Dr. Ibrahim Al-Assaf and UAE Minister of State Sultan Al-Jaber within preparations for Development Partners' Conference to be held in Cairo during coming period. At the outset of the meeting, the Egyptian Prime Minister said that Egypt's relations with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates are strong and rooted, lauding the two countries' support for Egypt during the recent period. For his part, Minister of Finance Dr. Ibrahim Al-Assaf welcomed the current economic measures taken by Egyptian government within framework of a plan for economic reform. At the end of the meeting, they agreed a continuation of communication among the relevant parties following Eid Al-Fitr for discussing the conference's preparations. The meeting was attended by Ahmad bin Abdulaziz Qattan, Saudi ambassador to Egypt and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's permanent representative to the Arab League.
