Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, Bahrain's Prime Minister, said in a press statement following his arrival in Jeddah this night that he is pleased as he arrives in this blessed land, which he described as Arabism and Islam's castle, to express profound gratitude and appreciation of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and his great country for their prominent role in the march of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) and in support of the Arab and Muslims causes, making the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia the first land all Arab and Muslims gear forward for its position during disasters and dangers facing the nation due to its international leverage and wise policy which is based on giving priority to the interests of religion and people, noting that the homeland of Islam is still rich of good initiatives during the era of its kings since the reign of the founder of this Kingdom late Abdulaziz bin Abdulrahman Al Saud until the current bright era of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud. He added that "I have come to my second country the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia conveying to its King, government and people the greetings of the people of the Kingdom of Bahrain who will never forget the noble Saudi positions by the side of Bahrain and its continual support and unstopped support for Bahrain even in the worst situations, a matter that made us consider Saudi Arabia a strategic depth to Bahrain as our partnership is lifelong and our unity is inevitable. So, we always see that the initiative of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques calling for the GCC union is very well suited and is better to be executed without hesitation or delay as it is the unique alternative for the GCC countries to face the current challenges and dangers engulfing the region. We avail ourselves of this opportunity to express our sincere thanks and appreciation of our brother Crown Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Deputy Premier and Minister of Defense, and Deputy Crown Prince Muqrin bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Second Deputy Premier, Advisor to and Special Envoy of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques". Prince Khalifa bin Salman appealed to God Almighty to accept his call during the current blessed days of the holy fasting of Ramadan to bestow continuous security, stability and prosperity on the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and continue the fraternal and historic ties between the two countries under the prudent policy of King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa of the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, King of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, wishing the two countries everlasting progress and development.
