Crown Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Deputy Premier and Minister of Defense of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, made the following statement upon arrival in the Kingdom of Bahrain: "I am pleased to be here in the Kingdom of Bahrain to convey the greetings of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud to King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, government and people of the Kingdom of Bahrain. The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques has honored me to participate in the 33rd Gulf Cooperation Council Summit on his behalf and convey his greetings to the GCC leaders. The King wishes the summit every success. The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques trusts that the wisdom of King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa of the Kingdom of Bahrain and the GCC leaders will have great impact on success of this summit to promote the GCC march and achieve the noble objectives drawn by the GCC leaders to which the GCC peoples aspire. In conclusion, I express my thanks to and appreciation of King Hamad bin Isa for the warm welcome and generous hospitality accorded to us by the government and the people of the Kingdom of Bahrain, wishing the summit every success for the welfare of our countries, peoples and Arab and Islamic nations."
