Palestinian President Discusses Israeli Escalation with UN Secretary General

Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas made today a telephone call with UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon.
During the telephone conversation, they discussed the latest developments in Palestine and Israeli continuous escalation in Gaza Strip.
Abbas stressed necessity of ceasefire immediately for protecting lives of the innocent people.
