Costa Rica coach Jorge Luis Pinto has called on FIFA to keep an eye on Netherlands winger Arjen Robben amid fears his side could be a victim of diving in Saturday's World Cup quarter-final, dpa reported. Robben was accused of diving during the Dutch 2-1 victory over Mexico in the last 16. The Bayern Munich player was awarded a penalty in stoppage time after falling spectacularly under a challenge, and admitted to diving in an earlier incident in the game. "I have fear," said Pinto, who called on officials to be "vigilant" in Saturday's encounter in the Arena Fonte Nova. "Robben is among the three or four best players in the world, and is an undisputed model player, but referees cannot fall for that. We are concerned about Robben. "We demand and respectfully ask FIFA and the referees' committee to be very attentive." Pinto said it would be "the most logical" consequence if Robben were shown a yellow card if he feigned a foul. "It would have a global and historical impact if he were removed with two (yellow) cards for diving. Why not?" he said. -- SPA 22:40 LOCAL TIME 19:40 GMT تغريد
