Four civilians killed in north Afghanistan blast

At least four people, including two children, were
killed Wednesday in an explosion in northern Afghanistan, dpa cited an official
as saying.
"There was an explosion in a crowded bazaar in Dawlat Abad district
at 9:30 am (0500 GMT)," said Ahmad Javid Bedar, spokesman for the
governor of Faryab province.
Nine civilians and a police officer were wounded in the explosion.
Nobody has claimed responsibility for the attack.
