Six Afghan employees for a French aid agency were shot dead by Taliban militants Wednesday in northern Afghanistan, an official said. "Seven Afghan employees of the Agency for Technical Cooperation and Development were travelling this morning from Maimana city to Almar district," said Ahmad Jawed Bedar, governor spokesman for Faryab province. "Their car was stopped by Taliban insurgents in Pashtoon Kot district and they were dragged out and shot," Bedar told dpa, adding that six died and one was wounded.
