The ambassador of Egypt to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Afifi Abdulwahab lauded the official visit by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud to Egypt today, saying that it embodies great meanings and significance and reflects the extent of the keenness rendered by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques for in support of Egypt and its people. In statement to the Middle East News Agency, he also praised the stance of Saudi Arabia with Egypt, citing the cable of congratulation the King has sent to President Abdulfattah Al-Sisi on the occasion of winning the presidential elections as the kick off of this move. On the other part, the General Union of Egyptian Expatriates also welcomed the visit, considering it as embodying the depth of relations between Egypt and Saudi Arabia. Dr. Saeed Yahya, the Chairman of the union in the Kingdom said in a statement to SPA that the visit is an extension of a rich history of fraternal relations between the two countries. At the same time a number of Egyptian newspapers also paid tribute to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques for availing the chance of going back home to have a drop in Egypt to express solidarity with Egypt.
