Saudi Ambassador to Egypt Hisham bin Mohieddin Nazer has stressed that the visit of Prince Naif bin Abdulaziz, the Second Deputy Premier and Minister of Interior to Egypt comes within the framework of Saudi-Egyptian distinguished relations which embody full understanding and harmony between the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Egypt's President Mohammed Hosni Mubarak. The Ambassador has praised historical relations between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Egypt, stressing that fraternal ties between the King and the Egyptian President have had the greatest impact on strengthening bilateral relations in addition to their keenness on promoting firm friendship and relations between the peoples and leaderships of the two countries. Ambassador Nazer noted that the visit due to start today comes at the invitation of Egyptian Prime Minister Dr. Ahmed Nazif, indicating that the visit aims to promote bilateral relations between the two countries in commercial, economic, cultural, and scientific fields as well as bolstering ties between universities and research centers in the two countries.
