determination of peoples which is a right installed in the Charter of the United Nations and enshrined in international resolutions and principles of international law. He stressed the importance of agreement today more than ever on the definition of the phenomenon of terrorism, taking serious steps towards the conclusion of a comprehensive convention on combating it, improving the coordination and consolidation of efforts of the United Nations and reducing the several entities that operate in the fight against terrorism to reduce costs and get rid of any recurrence or waste of precious resources most important of which are the lives of innocent people around the world. The ambassador repeated demand not to turn a blind eye and ignore the worst kind of terrorism which is terrorism by the state against its citizens and committing the most heinous types of crimes against humanity and war crimes and the use of the worst kinds of humiliation and indignity to terrorize and intimidated them. He wondered, "With what can we describe the use by the Syrian regime in Damascus of explosive barrels against civilians and chemical weapons and poison gas except that it is terrorism by a state which has oppressed its citizens and flouted international law and all agreements, commitments and international obligations on terrorism and without any deterrent to this aggression until now. He concluded by saying that such criminal behavior by the state against its own people is what is causing constantly widening abysses in which terrorists and mercenaries prey and whose danger has been repeatedly asserted by the kingdom as it is an important reason and perhaps the most important at all at the moment for spreading terrorism not only in the region but in the whole world.
