A gunman shot dead three police officers in eastern Canada late Wednesday, dpa quoted police and news reports as saying. A manhunt was under way for 24-year-old local man, Justin Bourque, after a shootout also inflicted "non life threatening injuries," on two other officers, the Royal Canadian Mounted Police of New Brunswick said on Twitter. A photo reported to be of Bourque was posted on several national media, showing a man in combat fatigues carrying at least one automatatic rifle, walking in the streets of Moncton.
