Floods in the Balkans have left dozens dead in Serbia and Bosnia and displaced tens of thousands, dpa quoted officials as saying early Monday. Rescuers had recovered 20 bodies in the town of Doboj in northern Bosnia-Herzegovina and taken them to the municipal morgue by late Sunday, said the town's mayor Obren Petrovic. There were at least seven deaths in other areas. In the Serbian town of Obrenovac near Belgrade 12 bodies had been recovered. Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic said a total of 15 people had died in Serbia but said he feared the death toll could rise. Tens of thousands have been evacuated across Serbia since the flooding began amid heavy rainfall on Tuesday. In Croatia a man died when a house collapsed shortly after a woman was rescued from it, the newspaper Vecernji List reported.
