The Saudi Fund for Development (SFD) has signed three memorandums of granting with the Kingdom of Jordan through three development projects worth about $232 million. The agreements were signed SFD Deputy Chairman Eng. Yousuf bin Ibrahim Al-Bassam and Jordanian Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Dr. Jaffar Hassan in presence of Saudi Ambassador to Jordan Sami bin Abdullah Al-Saleh. In a press statement, ambassador Al-Saleh said that the agreements included projects of roads, pumping stations and sewage networks. This financing represents a part of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's grant to Jordan worth $1.25 billion for funding a number of projects in the fields of education, health, roads, railways, water networks, sanitation, and infrastructure in the areas of economic development.
