Saudi Fund for Development (SFD) and Jordanian Ministry of Planning and International Cooperation signed here today three sectoral financing agreements worth about $179,4 million in order to complete Saudi share regarding a Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) grant to Jordan worth $ five million to be paid in five years. During the signing ceremony, SFD Deputy Chairman Eng. Yousuf bin Ibrahim Al-Bassam and Jordanian Minister of Planning Dr. Jaffar Hassan signed the three agreements in presence of Saudi Ambassador to Jordan Fahd bin Ibrahim Al-Zaid. In a press statement, the Jordanian minister said that the agreements included projects of infrastructure in the economic development regions, projects of establishing railway and development of the infrastructure at the universities and community colleges.
