Macedonia's opposition Social Democratic Union (SDMS) boycotted parliament on Saturday, alleging that last month's elections were manipulated, dpa reported. Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski's conservative VMRO party won a fourth consecutive election since 2006, claiming 61 of the 123 seats. The SDMS won 34 seats, but is refusing to join the legislature. Some of the allegations of manipulation by VMRO by SDMS leader, Zoran Zaev, were substantiated by international observers. While it noted violations by the authorities, the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe also urged SDSM to join the parliament. -- SPA 21:03 LOCAL TIME 18:03 GMT تغريد
