Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of local, regional and international issues. Alyoum newspaper valued highly the speech of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz addressed to the 11th Asia Media Summit, highlighting the speech's most important principles. On the issue of terrorism, Alwatan newspaper commented on the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's announcement yesterday of thwarting a big terrorist scheme, the first of its kind, linked to what is known as "Organization of the Islamic State in Iraq and the Levant" or "Daash", relying on the recruitment of women and children alike. It saw that Daash's resorting to pursue trafficking of women and children across the southern border reflects this organization's weakness in the Kingdom. --More 11:09 LOCAL TIME 08:09 GMT تغريد
