Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of local, regional and international issues. On the Palestinian cause, Alwatan newspaper commented on Palestinian-Israeli peace negotiations highlighting Israel's intransigence citing as an example Israeli forces' arrest of a girl in Hebron and taking her to unknown destination. On Syria, Alsharq newspaper criticized Al-Assad's message to Putin that the he will never leave; while Alyoum newspaper highlighted the fact that the Syrian regime is living outside reality and that the Syrians are writing their own history.
