Dr. Hashim bin Abdullah Yamani, President of the Riyadh-based King Abdullah City for Atomic and Renewable Energy (KACARE) who leads his country's delegation to the ongoing Security summit in The Hague held on the sidelines of the summit conference today talks with a number of heads of foreign delegations, notably those from, the Peoples Republic of China, Turkey, South Africa, Hungary, Finland, Belgium and Australia. Dr. Waleed Hussein Abulfaraj, Deputy President of CACARE, and the accompanying delegation also took part in the meetings. During the meetings, discussions on issues of mutual concern, including the peaceful usage of nuclear power and making the Middle East nuke-free region were tackled. Also discussed were cooperation fields between the Kingdom and each of the countries that took part in the talks in the fields of nuclear and renewable energy, training, quality and sustainability standards and the enlarging of the economic and industrial roles on which such initiatives would be based.
