The White House said Monday the United States was reviewing Ukrainian requests for military aid but insisted that Washington currently is limiting its assistance to economic support as it seeks a diplomatic path with Russia. "We're reviewing requests by the Ukrainian government and military," spokesman Jay Carney told reporters. "Our focus is on steps that Russia can take to de-escalate."
