Presided over by its Deputy Speaker Dr. Mohammed bin Amin Al-Jeffery, the Shura Council lauded in its 21st ordinary session held here today, the Ministry of Interior's statement offering a 15-day grace for those taking part in fighting outside the Kingdom to repent and come back home. In a press statement following the meeting, the Assistant Speaker of the council Dr. Fahad bin Mutad Al-Hamad said today's session tackled a number of issues, including the annual report of the Human Resources Development Fund for the fiscal year 1433/34 H., urging the facility to increase its interest in small facilities to provide more appropriate and attractive work environment for citizens who are interested to enter into private businesses. Then, the Council discussed a report submitted by the Transport, Communications and Information Technology committee on the annual report for the year 1433/1434 H. on the national plan for communications and IT for transferring Saudi Arabia into an information community. Following a thorough debate, the committee was given second chance to re-write the report and special attention to the shura council's members views. Finally, the meeting rejected a proposal to consider passing the exams and conditions to obtain a Saudi driving license as just a special quality rather than a legal right, citing the legal difference between the two.
