A bomb hidden in the vehicle of a district governor, killed him and injured six people including two of his bodyguards Saturday in eastern Afghanistan, police said, according to dpa. "The incident took place early morning in Jalalabad city, in which Noor Agha Kamran, the Naziyan district governor was killed," said Hazrat Hussain Mashreqiwal, police spokesman for Nangarhar province. Mashreqiwal said that Karman's two bodyguards and four passing civilians were injured, adding the bodyguards' wounds were serious. Nobody has claimed responsibility for the bombing.
