Turki, Secretary General of Muslim World League (MWL), delivered a speech where he extended thanks to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques for his patronage of this conference and other MWL occasions which are supported by the Crown Prince and the Second Deputy Premier. "Our Islamic Nation faced many challenges which required us to alleviate or bypass them. This conference is held in order to spread a culture of solidarity among different sectors of the Islamic Nation, take care of the scientific projects and programs and support the institutions of cooperation among Muslims," Dr. Al-Turki said. The MWL Secretary General stressed that the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques exerted great efforts in reunification and solidarity of the Islamic Nation. Then, Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Abdullah Al Al-Sheikh, Grand Mufti of the Kingdom and President of Senior Ulema Commission and Religious Research Administration and Ifta, addressed the attendees, highlighting importance of solidarity among Muslims which included a cooperation in defending Islamic faith and nation. "The Islamic solidarity included a cooperation in the economic, social and scientific fields. We have to seek to unify our stance, cooperation and solidarity in facing challenges," the Grand Mufti of the Kingdom said.
