The Conference On "Issues and Challenges of the Muslim World" resumed its sessions this morning in Makkah. The Conference, sponsored by the Muslim World League (MWL), is held under the patronage of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah Ibn Abdulaziz Al Saud. Its sessions' this morning were chaired by The Grand Mufti of The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, President of Council of Senior Scholars and General Presidency of Scholarly Research and Ifta, and President of the League's Constituent Council Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Abdullah bin Mohammed Al Al-Sheikh, in the presence of the League's Secretary General, Dr. Abdullah Bin Abdulmohsen Al-Turki. The sessions dealt with in-depth discussions on economic and social situations in Muslim countries as well as challenges facing them and means of addressing them by the Islamic religion.
