At least two Haitian migrants have died and another 12 were rescued when their boat capsized Thursday off the Dominican Republic. The Dominican navy said an estimated 20 migrants were aboard the boat and that authorities are searching for additional survivors. A navy official said rescued migrants told authorities that the boat departed early Thursday for nearby Puerto Rico when it capsized a few kilometers from shore. Another navy official said the boat had been stolen earlier from a Dominican tourism company.
